If you wish to sell a timepiece, Steven Hale will value and sell it on your behalf; if you wish to purchase, we always have a portfolio of fine watches on offer

If you would like to have a timepiece valued, please contact us and we will be pleased to discuss your requirements with you – and, of course, we invite you to visit us at our premises in South Molton Street, Mayfair in central London, so that we can undertake a thorough inspection and valuation.

Similarly, if you would like to sell a watch, simply bring it in so that we can appraise it and give you an idea of its sale price. You may also be interested in acquiring an item from our collection of timepieces on sale, and we will be more than happy to show you our portfolio of fine and classic watches.

I collected the watch on 11 August, as you know.  It is a pleasure to have it back in full working order and looking as good as new.  How it came to be so damaged, I do not know.  The crystal and dial are fresh and clean in striking contrast to their previous condition.  The watch was my grandfather’s silver wedding anniversary present to my grandmother.  It was with her when she and my grandfather were deported from Guernsey to Germany in 1943 and returned with her to Guernsey in 1945.  The watch will pass to my granddaughter in a few years’ time.Please pass my thanks and appreciation for his work to the watchmaker.
